Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – 2025–2026 School Year – In‑Person

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2025–2026 school year. We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities, with services provided in person in Illinois.

Position Details

• Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time
• Location: In-person (Illinois)
• Start Date: August 2025
• Caseload: Discussed during interview
• Service Area: Evaluations, therapy, IEP documentation, and collaboration

Your Key Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations
• Deliver individual and group therapy services
• Develop and implement IEP goals
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Collaborate with school-based special education teams
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and educators

What We’re Looking For

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license (or ability to obtain quickly)
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement (or willingness to obtain)
• ASHA CCCs preferred
• School-based experience is a plus
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
