Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – 2025–2026 School Year – In‑Person

Ampersand Therapy is hiring passionate Speech-Language Pathologists for the 2025–2026 school year! We offer full-time and part-time school-based positions, exclusively in-person. As a therapist- and woman-founded company that began in Washington and is now also local to Illinois, we are committed to providing meaningful support for clinicians working in school settings.

Position Details

Schedule: Full-Time
Location: In-person
Start Date: August 2025
Service Area: Evaluations, therapy, IEPs, progress reports, and team collaboration

Your Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy to students in school settings
• Conduct evaluations and write reports in alignment with IEP requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting
• Collaborate with special education and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain timely and compliant documentation

What We’re Looking For

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement (or willingness to obtain)
• State of Illinois SLP license (or willingness to obtain)
• ASHA CCCs preferred, CFs welcome to apply
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
