School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) – Full Time | Tacoma, WA | 2025-2026 School Year

Ampersand Therapy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team for the 2025–2026 school year in Tacoma, Washington. This is a full-time, hybrid flexible position in a school setting. Whether you’re an experienced school-based OT or just beginning your school therapy journey, we’d love to hear from you!

Job Highlights:

• Location: Tacoma, WA
• Position: Occupational Therapist (OT) – School Setting
• Schedule: Full Time, 2025–2026 school year
• Setting: Hybrid schedule - 3 days in person, 2 days remote per week, K–12 public school environment
• Caseload: To be discussed in interview 
• Start Date: ASAP for the 25-26 school year

Responsibilities:

• Provide school-based OT services including assessments, treatment, and consultation
• Conduct evaluations and write reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and write IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
• Maintain timely documentation and progress notes

Qualifications:

• Must hold (or be eligible for) Washington State OT license
• Must hold (or be willing to obtain) ESA Certification (Educational Staff Associate)
• Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
