School Psychologist – 2025–2026 School Year

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a dedicated School Psychologist for the 2025–2026 school year in Homer Glen, IL! We are a women and therapist-founded company that began in Washington and is now also local to Illinois. Position Details
Schedule: Full-Time & In-person
Location: Homer School District, IL 
Caseload: Middle School Students 
Start Date: ASAP

Your Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive student evaluations
• Provide ongoing counseling to a small caseload
• Prepare IEP reports and participate in IEP meetings
• Support MTSS processes, conduct classroom observations, and assist with problem-solving
• Respond to crisis calls as needed
• Deliver progress reports and maintain compliant documentation
• Collaborate with school staff and multidisciplinary teams

What We’re Looking For

• Master’s degree in School Psychology or equivalent
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
• National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) certification is a plus
• Strong skills in student assessment, data analysis, and IEP development
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
