Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) –– In-Person

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist for the remainder of the 25-26 school year in Steger, IL.

Position Details

Schedule: Full-Time 8am-2:25pm
Location: Steger School District - Primary Center 
Start Date: ASAP
Service Area: Evaluations, IEPs, progress reports, and team collaboration

Your Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
• Provide therapy sessions tailored to student needs
• Prepare IEP reports and participate in IEP meetings
• Track and deliver progress reports
• Attend staff meetings and support multidisciplinary collaboration
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Illinois Speech Language Pathologist license or willingness to acquire ASAP
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement or willingness to acquire ASAP
• Bilingual in Spanish and English (preference) 
• Strong skills in speech and language assessment and intervention
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
