Ampersand Therapy is excited to hire a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for school nurse position for the 2025–2026 school year at Hawthorn School District! 

Position Details

Schedule: Full-Time, M, T, Th, Fr: 8:05 am-3:35 pm and W: 8:05 am-3:50 pm
Location: Hawthorn School District, Elementary School
Start Date: ASAP
Service Area: Student health services, medication administration, health education, emergency care, and collaboration with school staff

Your Key Responsibilities

• Provide general health services and emergency care to students
• Administer medications and maintain accurate student health records
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with students, staff, and parents
• Collaborate with school teams to support student health and safety
• Maintain organization of health logistics across diverse age groups

What We’re Looking For

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License (required)
• Type 73 Illinois Certificate with School Nurse endorsement (required)
• Current CPR/AED certification
• School nurse experience preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
