School LPN - Float

School Nurse – Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Part Time, 2.5-3 days per week | Spanaway, WA | 2025–2026 School Year | Float assignment beginning April 1, 2026

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to serve as a Float School Nurse for the 2025–2026 school year in Spanaway, Washington. This is a  part-time, in-person float position serving district-wide. Job Highlights:

  • Location: Spanaway, WA
  • Position: School Nurse (LPN) : Float position, supporting district wide
  • Skills needed: trach, g tube, diabetic care, seizure monitoring 
  • Schedule: 2.5-3 days per week 
  • Setting: School Setting
  • Start Date: April 1 through the end of the school year; strong likelihood to continue next school year 
  • In-person only

Qualifications:

  • Valid Washington State LPN license (DOH)
  • G-tube and suctioning experience 
  • Seizure monitoring experience
  • Pediatric experience
  • Fingerprinting and background check required prior to start
  • Previous experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or public health preferred
