Hello, Talent Acquisition Coordinators! 

Ampersand Therapy is seeking a driven Recruiting/Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our team. Ampersand Therapy is a women- and therapist-led education staffing company with a passion for supporting students, school districts, and school professionals. In the Recruiting Coordinator position, you will support Talent Acquisition leaders and contribute to the recruitment process and overall workflow. You will play a key role in applicant tracking, sourcing, maintaining organized documentation, and supporting the dynamic needs in company recruitment efforts.

Responsibilities: 

Recruiting and Sourcing Support

  • Post job openings to job boards and the applicant tracking system (ATS) as new positions or hiring needs are identified. 
     
  • Review candidate applications and screening question responses; verify license status and assign qualified applicants to assigned Talent Acquisition leader
     
  • Assist with active and passive sourcing of professional and associate-level candidates through platforms such as LinkedIn and Indeed.
     
  • Assist with overflow as needed.

New Hire and Employee Support

  • Respond to new hire inquiries via text and email regarding employment policies, benefits, licensing, and other HR-related topics; escalate to Talent leader as needed
  • Text/email candidates throughout their employment experience

Database Management

  • Collect candidate documents (licenses, certifications, etc.) once candidates enter the pipeline; upload and maintain documentation in the ATS and/or vendor management systems as applicable.
  • Collaborate with onboarding support professionals to troubleshoot any onboarding and licensing delays

Data Reporting

  • Provide weekly reports on recruiting and onboarding metrics and processes.

Administrative Duties

  • Assist candidates in licensure and certification applications and fingerprint appointments
  • Support multiple Recruiting, Administrative, and/or HR-related projects and tasks while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy, discretion, and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of administrative experience, including exposure to human resources and recruitment processes. Experience working remotely is a plus.
  • Education: Associate's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred. 
  • Certification: HRCI or SHRM certifications preferred. 
  • Advanced Degree Familiarity: Preferred understanding of advanced degree requirements for high-level roles in the education industries. 
  • Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and comfortable using new office tools and technology. 
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities with exceptional time management skills, able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced and remote environment. 
  • Timezone: Pacific Time Zone preferred.
