School Speech-Language Pathologist (2026–2027 School Year) | Greater Chicago Area, Illinois | Up to $70/hr 

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a passionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) for the 2026–2027 school year.

Position Details

Schedule: Full-Time 
Location: School Districts in the Greater Chicago Area (multiple openings) 
Start Date: August 2026 (2026-2027 School Year) 
Service Area: Speech evaluations, therapy, IEP development, documentation, and team collaboration

Your Key Responsibilities

• Conduct speech-language evaluations and provide treatment services
• Complete IEPs and related documentation
• Collaborate closely with special education teams
• Manage assigned caseload (discussed during interview)

What We’re Looking For

• Illinois state license or willingness to acquire ASAP
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement or willingness to acquire ASAP
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
• Experience in school or special education settings preferred
