About the Role

Hello, Special Education Teachers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time SPED Teacher for a school-based position in the Denver area for the 2026–2027 school year. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting student success by providing specialized instruction, developing IEPs, and collaborating closely with school teams. This is a great opportunity for both experienced educators and those newer to the field who are passionate about making an impact.

What You’ll Do
Provide specialized instruction aligned with student IEP goals
Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with the team
Support students with diverse learning, behavioral, and developmental needs
Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and families
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a team-based approach
Track progress and maintain compliant documentation
Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

What We’re Looking For
Active (or eligible) Colorado teaching license with SPED endorsement
Experience working with students with diverse learning needs preferred
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Passion for supporting student growth and inclusion
