Full time School LPN or RN | 1-1 position or Float Assignments Available | Federal Way, WA - | $35-50/hour 

Position Details

• Schedule: Full-Time (5 days/week)
• Start Date: ASAP (through end of 2025–2026 school year, likely renewal)
• 2 positions available: 1-1 or float
• Health needs of student for 1-1 position: Severe Asthma w inhaler, allergies with epi pen, adrenal disorder, diabetes 
• For float position: float between 2 school sites 

About the Role

Hello, LPNs & RNs! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide 1:1 care or float nursing support. This role focuses on supporting a medically fragile student throughout the school day, including transportation needs. What You’ll Do

• Assist with safe transfers, including on/off the school bus
• Monitor student health status and respond to medical needs
• Collaborate with school staff and family to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans
• Support student access to school throughout the day

What We’re Looking For

• Active Washington State LPN license (DOH) or Compact Multi-State Nursing License Equivalent OR Registered Nurse license  
• Pediatric experience strongly preferred
• Ability to pass fingerprinting and background check
• Reliable, attentive, and comfortable in a 1:1 setting
