Hello, Paraprofessionals!Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time Paraprofessional for a school setting in Covington, GA. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in student success by supporting instruction, reinforcing IEP goals, and helping create a safe, structured environment that promotes academic progress and positive student development.

What You’ll Do
Provide instructional support to students with disabilities in special education and general education settings under the direction of the teacher.
Assist in maintaining a structured, safe, and positive classroom environment through effective supervision and classroom management.
Support data collection, documentation, and routine record-keeping as directed by instructional staff.
Prepare instructional materials, visual aids, and classroom resources to support lesson implementation.
Perform clerical and organizational tasks, including maintaining classroom supplies and inventory.
Demonstrate professionalism through punctuality, reliability, and appropriate workplace appearance.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Maintain strict confidentiality of student and school information in accordance with policies and regulations.
Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and required professional development.
Adhere to all district, state, and federal guidelines while supporting a safe and compliant learning environment.
What We’re Looking For
Associate’s Degree or two years (60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours) of college OR HS diploma/GED with successful completion of the Georgia Paraprofessional Certification Test.
Valid Paraprofessional Certificate
School-based experience preferred, not required
Strong communication and collaboration skills
