About the Role
Hello, School Social Workers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time Social Worker in a school setting in Bolingbrook, IL. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in student success by conducting evaluations, supporting IEP development, and collaborating with school teams. This is a great fit for both experienced school-based Social Workers and those transitioning into schools.

What You’ll Do
Provide school-based Social Worker services: evaluations, treatment, and consultation
Conduct standardized assessments and write evaluation reports
Develop and implement IEP goals aligned with student needs
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Partner with teachers, SPED staff, and families to promote carryover
Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
Adapt materials and environments to improve student access
What We’re Looking For
Active (or eligible) Illinois Professional Educator License with a School Social Worker endorsement
Master’s Degree in School Social Work
Strong communication and collaboration skills
School-based experience preferred, not required
