About the Role
Hello, School Psychologists! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time School Psychologist for a K–12 school setting in Wheeling, IL. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in student success by conducting evaluations, supporting IEP development, and collaborating with school teams. We welcome new clinicians and seasoned professionals alike!

What You’ll Do
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
Write comprehensive evaluation reports and IEP documentation
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Provide progress monitoring and maintain compliant documentation
Collaborate with teachers, families, and special education staff
Support student behavioral, social-emotional, and academic needs
Assist in developing appropriate interventions and supports
Ensure timelines and compliance with state and federal regulations
What We’re Looking For
Master’s degree in School Psychology (or equivalent)
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
Strong assessment, writing, and collaboration skills
School-based experience preferred, not required
NASP membership a plus
