Up to $52-62/hour | Hartwell, GA | Part-Time Hours | 2026-2027 School Year | Part-time contract position supporting students with disabilities by providing instruction for visually impaired learners, implementing IEPs, and collaborating with teams and families.

About the Role
Hello, O&M Specialists! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a part-time O&M Specialist for a K–12 school setting within the Hart County Charter System. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in student success by supporting learners with visual impairments through tailored instruction and individualized strategies. You’ll help create an inclusive, supportive classroom while partnering with educators, specialists, and families to ensure each student’s needs are met.

What You’ll Do
- Develops plans and instructs students with visual impairments in the development of skills and knowledge
- Implement IEPs, individualized interventions, and classroom accommodations
- Build a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with school-based Exceptional Children's/Special Education teams, behavior specialists, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and team planning sessions
What We’re Looking For
- MUST HAVE Orientation and Mobility Specialist Certification
- Successfully completed and graduated from an accredited Orientation and Mobility specific training program through an approved university and have completed all fieldwork requirements
- School-based experience preferred, not required
