Position Details

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Start Date: ASAP (through end of 2025–2026 school year, likely renewal)
• 2 positions available: float - candidates must be comfortable providing 1-1, health room, and trach-vent support 
• Float district wide
• Must have ability to obtain base access with Passport, Enhanced DL or Real ID, vehicle registration and reliable transportation, and car insurance 

About the Role

Hello, RNs! Ampersand Therapy is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide float nursing support. This role focuses on 1-1, trach-vent, and healthroom support needs. If you have strong clinical skills and want meaningful, student-centered work, this is a high-impact opportunity.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with safe transfers, including on/off the school bus
• Monitor student health status and respond to medical needs
• Collaborate with school staff and family to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans
• Support student access to school throughout the day

What We’re Looking For

• Active Washington State LPN license (DOH) or Compact Multi-State Nursing License Equivalent OR Registered Nurse license  
• Pediatric experience strongly preferred
• Ability to pass fingerprinting and background check
• Reliable, attentive, and comfortable in a 1:1 setting
