About the Role

Hello, Physical Therapists! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a part-time Physical Therapist (PT) for a school-based setting in Englewood, CO. In this role, you’ll support students in accessing their educational environment by addressing mobility, positioning, and functional movement needs. You’ll collaborate closely with school teams to help students participate safely and successfully in the classroom and school community.

This is a great opportunity for a PT looking for a highly flexible, low-hour school-based role or supplemental school experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide school-based physical therapy evaluations, treatment, and consultation
  • Support students with mobility, positioning, and access to school environments
  • Develop and implement IEP goals aligned with student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
  • Participate in IEP meetings as needed
  • Recommend adaptive equipment, positioning supports, and environmental modifications
  • Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records

What We’re Looking For

  • Active Colorado Physical Therapy license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • CDE Special Service Provider (SSP) endorsement required or in progress
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • School-based experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work independently in a highly part-time setting
