About the Role
Hello, Physical Therapists! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist (PT) for a K–12 school setting in Erie, CO. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in student success by conducting evaluations, supporting IEP development, and collaborating with school teams to help students access their educational environment safely and successfully. This is a great fit for both experienced school-based PTs and those transitioning into schools.

What You’ll Do
Provide school-based PT services including evaluations, treatment, and consultation
Conduct standardized assessments and write evaluation reports
Develop and implement IEP goals aligned with student mobility and functional needs
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Support students’ gross motor, mobility, positioning, and access needs within the school environment
Partner with teachers, SPED staff, and families to promote carryover of therapy strategies
Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications as needed
What We’re Looking For
Active (or eligible) Colorado State PT license
CDE Certification with Special Service Provider Endorsement (or ability to obtain)
Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) required
Strong communication and collaboration skills
School-based experience preferred, not required
