In-Person Summer 2026 Math Teacher | ESY | Lakewood, WA | June 12-August 7 | Part-time hours 

Ampersand is seeking a qualified math teacher to support the Summer School Program/ESY at a school district in Lakewood, WA. Candidates will provide instructional support in a structured summer learning environment focused on student engagement, academic growth, and individualized support services.

Position Details

• Schedule: June 12 – August 7, Monday through Friday
• Student Hours: 8:30 am – 11:30 am
• Staff Hours: 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
  • Includes 30 minutes of planning time before and after instruction

Qualifications

• Residency Teaching Certificate in Washington State with a Math Endorsement 
• Experience working with K–12 students preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Special Education candidates should have experience implementing IEP accommodations and supports
• Background check required before starting
