About the Role

Hello, Registered Behavior Technicians! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a school setting in Dalton, GA. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in student success by providing direct one-on-one behavioral interventions that help students develop communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors in the school environment. Using evidence-based strategies rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), you'll support meaningful growth, foster independence, and help students reach their full potential.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in school settings.
  • Implement behavior intervention and treatment plans as directed.
  • Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
  • Reduce challenging behaviors using evidence-based ABA strategies.
  • Collect and record accurate behavioral and progress data.
  • Collaborate with BCBAs, families, and school staff.
  • Foster a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Participate in training, supervision, and professional development.
What We’re Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must hold or be eligible to obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the BACB
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • School-based experience preferred, not required
