Ampersand Therapy is hiring an Adaptive Physical Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year in the Maywood, IL area. What You'll Do
- Provide Adapted Physical Education services in the school setting
- Create inclusive and interactive lessons and activities for students
- Implement IEP goals and therapy plans
- Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills
- Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
What We're Looking For
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Physical Education or related field
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Adaptive Physical Education Endorsement
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
