About the Role
Hello Bilingual SPED Teachers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring Bilingual Special Education Teachers to support students in Aurora, CO. In this role, you'll assess, teach, and provide specialized services to students with disabilities within a Spanish/English dual-language immersion environment. You'll deliver support through a combination of in-class services, pull-out instruction, consultation, and collaboration while helping students achieve academic success, bilingualism, and biliteracy. You'll work alongside a collaborative district team and a supportive, therapist-run company committed to student success.

What You'll Do
- Provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities in a Spanish/English dual-language immersion setting
- Deliver services through in-class support, pull-out instruction, and collaborative consultation
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs aligned with each student's educational goals
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, special education staff, related service providers, and families
- Conduct and interpret assessments to support eligibility, instructional planning, and student progress
- Use literacy, math, and other assessment data to inform individualized programming
- Foster an inclusive learning environment that promotes academic achievement, bilingualism, biliteracy, and cross-cultural understanding
- Maintain compliant documentation and monitor student progress throughout the school year
What We're Looking For
- Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license with a Special Education endorsement
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
- Strong collaboration, communication, and classroom management skills
- Experience supporting students with disabilities in school settings preferred
- Passion for bilingual learning environments
