About the Role
Hello, Physical Therapist Assistants! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a school-based setting in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In this role, you'll support students in accessing their educational environment by addressing mobility, positioning, and functional movement needs. You'll collaborate closely with school teams to help students participate safely and successfully throughout the school day. This is a great opportunity for PTAs looking to make a meaningful impact in a school setting while supporting student mobility, independence, and access to learning.

What You'll Do

Provide school-based physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist

Support students with mobility, positioning, and access to school environments

Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers

Recommend adaptive equipment, positioning supports, and environmental modifications
-
Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
What We're Looking For

Active Colorado Physical Therapist Assistant license
-
Physical Therapy Assistant Degree
-
Active CDE Certification
-
Strong collaboration and communication skills
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

School based experience preferred, not required
